We
will shortly publish details of ten case studies using the
Silent Mind Technique™ with voice hearers in Scotland. This
represents a sample of the clients we have already treated.
Interestingly, many of these voice hearers had different
diagnosis - schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder,
bipolar, depression, etc. All but one of the voice hearers
has responded to the treatment with a significant
improvement in their condition. For six of the clients, the
voices were entirely eliminated although the longevity of
this success has not yet been established as most of these
treatments were performed between February and May 2008. Of
the four voice hearers with some remaining problem we are
continuing treatment and hope for more success with them.
We suspect that the reason why one client failed to respond
to treatment was the type and / or level of medication
(this client had a diagnoses of bipolar).
